N’Goné Fall, A Curator Without Borders

A graduate of the École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris, N’Goné Fall is also a cultural engineering consultant and has taught at the universities of Alexandria and Niamey and at the Michaelis School of Fine Arts in Cape Town. From 1994 to 2001, she was the editor of contemporary African art magazine Revue Noire. She has also edited books on visual arts in Africa and provided support and strategic advice to many governments and cultural institutions around the world. N’Goné Fall has chosen to place the Africa2020 Season under the banner of pan-Africanism and collective intelligence, while focusing on the voice of young people.

“My objective is to develop a season in a pan-African spirit, mobilizing change-makers who impact contemporary African societies in all areas of activity.”

“Here is my challenge to you: Let’s learn from each other.”
